HUMAN DEFECT!! Romans 3:23

RECALL NOTICE:

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of gender make or nationality model, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component, the heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve (See operating Manual: Romans 5:12), resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Sub-sequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some of the symptoms (See operating Manual: Mark 7:21-23, Jeremiah 17:9)

1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect (See operating Manual: Psalm 145:17), is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect. The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component. No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:

1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Believers' Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded (See operating Manual: Matthew 25:41). For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace (See operating Manual: Mark 2:17). The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.

Thank you for your attention!

- Messenger of God -

P.S. When given the opportunity to notify others about this defect please do so that they wil be aware of this worldwide RECALL. If there are still further questions please contact the Father by 'Knee mail'.

God wants more....

After you read this "click" on the title phrase >> God wants more above.

God wants more of Him to be present in you. He wants for you to not trust in yourself and lean on your own understanding of what you "FEEL" is right, or what you "THINK" is right. He can provide you with His joy and His peace and His understanding, however, none of this can be obtained by us trying to please Him and obtain His joy, peace, and understanding ourselves. We must rely on His Word (The inspired Word of God 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Does anyone really, I mean really, think about this now, really think that we can be effortless and pleasing to God at the same time??? What are you successful at that requires no effort??? How about your marriage (if your married, at least 3 years)? Does that require effort? How about parenthood (if your a parent or as I call us, "Babysitter for God")? Does that require effort? I hope that everyone will take the time to really think (I can't stress the thinking part enough) about how Holy God is and a Holy God must carry out discipline and correction on His children for their continual disobedience to His Word. And yes, we must know the Word in order for us to know how to be obedient to what is written in it. Come on that is common sense!! Too many "CHRISTIANS" think that they are OK with God, or God is OK with them, however, they are not reading His Word (hindering God's inspired Words from entering into their minds), and they are not on their faces crying out to Him for direction (speaking to God through prayer). Now let's think again, what relationship do you have that is healthy and loving where you don't speak to that person and they never speak to you???

The BIBLE says that we are to lay down our lives to follow after JESUS (Luke 9:23-24). That is laying down how you feel about a situation, laying down what you think is OK with God, laying down your own understanding of how loving God is (many say that God is loving I am a good person so...yada yada yada BULL CRAP!!), when you hear, feel, think or read ANYTHING, your next step is to go to God's Word and align what information you have come across with His Word. God gave us His Word and it is sufficient to provide us (humanity) with the answer to every question that we need an answer for while we are living here on this planet. Apart from JESUS we are seperated from God and will always be. JESUS said why call me LORD LORD and not do the things that I say (Luke 6:46), and let's THINK, how can we really know what JESUS says to do without reading God's Word??

Understand the Value....

I work at Southern Fire Protection and I design the blueprints for the installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems. Check out this video from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) that demonstrates how valuable Fire Protection is, both for safety and for potential damages.

This is where we are...

Last night at bible study I did a devotion from an article by Matt Slick from Christian Apologetic Research Ministry (carm.org). The article title was, "Christianity and Homosexuality". I was surprised with the normality of the issue. The term "normality" is a term that I use based on the open discussion that we had. How have "Christians" youth or not, come to the point where we are able to take God's Word and lower His standards that are clearly evident, to meet are own personal feelings or emotions on a situation or in circumstances? How? Someone please tell me how "God's Children" are not offended by the ungodliness of those who consider themselves the Body of Christ? Homosexuality is an abomination to God (Leviticus 18:22). In the old testament those who broke the moral standard of God that declares we should not change the natural use of that which is against nature; no man should lie with another man and no woman should lie with another woman, were dealt with in a manner that is worthy of capital punishment (Leviticus 20:13). The same God in the old testament is the same great and loving God that we serve today. He is guiding someone like me to post this blog post so that anyone who is reading may come to an understanding of how He feels about Homosexual immorality, so that maybe they will repent and be forgiven of the lawlessness against God. His grace is sufficient and His mercy endures forever. I am not provoking any kind of hate crime or malicious actions be brought upon any individual who practices Homosexuality, they are sinners just like myself who are in need of a Savior. God has supplied the need by sending His Son, Jesus into the world to be sin so that we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). However, God is still the same God, and instead of that transgressor being literally put to death, God may give them over to a reprobate mind (Romans 1:26-28). They will become comfortable in their sins and have no conviction of wrong in their actions thereby finding no reason to repent and thus leaving no room for forgiveness which leads to salvation. Apart from God in eternity is worse than capital punishment, it is eternal punishment. To all of my brothers and sisters in Christ, be loving in all things and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people with the hope that God will grant them repentance (2 Timothy 2:24-25). Align your morality with the morality of God, afterall we are to be dead to ourselves and alive in Christ. It is no longer our will be done, but the will of God is to be perfected in us continually. If God does not like something, then we should not be fond of it ourselves. In love Pastor Chad.

Dating
As part of the Religion Saves and Nine Other Misconceptions series, last Sunday I answered the question: “How does a Christian date righteously; and what are the physical, emotional, and mentally connecting boundaries a Christian must set while developing an intimate relationship prior to marriage?”
The entire answer is available for download in audio and video format on the Mars Hill Church website and on iTunes. It will also be expanded as a chapter for an upcoming book I am writing for Crossway.

Here’s a basic outline of the sermon (By. Pastor Mark Driscoll):
I started by explaining four kinds of relationships–three of which are acceptable for Christians, and one of which is sinful (option #3).

#1 - Prearranged Marriage
#2 - Courtship
#3 – Non Christian Dating
#4 - Christian DatingI also gave some practical advice for single men and single women alike, and advice for men and women specifically:

Christian Dating Principles for Both Men and Women
1. Maximize your singleness for God.
2. Do not pursue a relationship until you are ready to marry.
3. Be reasonable – do not set your expectations too high or too low.
4. A date is not dating: date = time together; dating = couple (1 Tim. 5:1-2).
5. Never go on a date or date a non-Christian (2 Cor. 6:14).
6. Only date one person at a time.
7. He initiates; she responds.
8. Look at who God puts in front of you (e.g. Boaz & Ruth).
9. Feel free to use technology (e.g. internet dating) wisely.
10. Only invest in a relationship with someone who you are attracted to entirely (e.g. physically, 11. Mentally, spiritually, emotionally, ministry gifts).
12. Only date someone who agrees with you on gender and family.
13. Guard your heart (Prov. 4:23).

Christian Dating Questions for Men
1. Are you overlooking good women (e.g. single moms, shy, divorcees)?
2. Are you honoring, God, her, her family, her friends, etc.?
3. Is she modest (1 Tim. 2:9)?
4. Will she follow your leadership?
5. Does she have noble character (Prov. 31)?
6. Can you provide for the lifestyle she expects (1 Tim. 5:8)?
7. Is she like the worst women in Proverbs (e.g. nag, loud, quarreling, unfaithful)?
8. Do you want your daughters to be like her and your sons to marry someone like her?

Christian Dating Questions for Women
1. Do you want to help him and join his course of life (Gen. 2:18; 1 Cor. 11:9)?
2. Is he tough enough to remain strong in tough times (2 Tim. 2:3)?
3. Will he take responsibility for you and your children (1 Cor. 11:3)?
4. Is he considerate and gentle with you (1 Peter 3:7)?
5. Will he be a good father (Ps. 127:3-5; Eph. 6:4)?
6. Is he a one woman man (1 Tim. 3:2)?
7. How valuable are you to him?
8. Do you want your sons to be like him and your daughters to marry someone like him?

Pray to Jesus...

DADDY'S EMPTY CHAIR
A man's daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her father. When the minister arrived, he found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows. An empty chair sat beside his bed. The minister assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit. 'I guess you were expecting me, he said. 'No, who are you?' said the father. The minister told him his name and then remarked, 'I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew I was going to show up.' 'Oh yeah, the chair,' said the bedridden man. 'Would you mind closing the door?' Puzzled, the minister shut the door. 'I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter,' said the man. 'But all of my life I have never known how to pray. I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head.I should have searched through the bible more for answers, but that time is gone now. I abandoned any attempt at prayer,' the old man continued, ' until one day four years ago; my best friend said to me, 'Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus. Here is what I suggest. 'Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It's not spooky because he promised, 'I will be with you always' (Matthew 28:20). 'Then just speak to him in the same way you're doing with me right now.' 'So, I tried it and I've liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I'm careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she'd either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.' The minister was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey. Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church. Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her daddy had died that afternoon. Did he die in peace?' he asked. Yes, when I left the house about two o'clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him. But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that?' The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said, 'I wish we could all go like that.'
